Girls Donate Hair To Locks Of Love

Owner of Maribou Salon, Jill Cromwell, said that many patrons ask to save their hair after a cut for the purpose of donating it to Locks of Love. Locks of Love is a non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children under the age of 21 in the United States and Canada suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis. Local mom, Dena Robertson, recently contacted Maribou Salon on behalf of five young girls (aged 8) who wanted to come as a group to have their long hair cut off and donated. Stylists Megan, Melina, Laureene and Cindy donated their time to this great cause.
